Shrove Tuesday
February 13 is Shrove Tuesday! Starting at 6 pm, we are going to celebrate with food and games! First, we will burn palm branches to ash for use on Ash Wednesday; next, we’ll enjoy a pancake supper – including colored pancakes for the artsy types!; and then wrap it up with a rousing game of Family Feud! We’ll take a lottery of contestants for each family (since we’re all in the St. Mark’s family!) and have some fun!
Ash Wednesday
On Ash Wednesday we begin our forty-day journey toward Easter. There will be two services on February 14: noon and 6:30pm. The 6:30pm service will also be available online.
