Do you know the Lutheran World Relief (LWR) distributed its first quilts in 1945 to families in war-torn Europe following the Second World War? Today, an average of 300,000 quilts are given worldwide each year.
St. Mark’s is committed to the LWR Mission of helping some of the world’s poorest communities in need, but we can’t do it without your help. Please consider joining this ministry! As prices continue to rise, the Quilt Guild would appreciate monetary support for supplies, such as batting, sheets, thread, and fabric. They have completed 33 quilts this year and are always looking to welcome new volunteers.
