Ministries at St. Mark's
God's Work. Our Hands.
Feel called to get involved with one of these ministries? Check the St. Mark's Messenger newsletter for more information and a point of contact, or contact the church office!
Food Truck Ministry
We are partnering with Manna House to prepare and serve a hot supper to an area in our community on the first Thursday of each month. We need your help! You can serve by preparing food at the church (or possibly at home), donating food or supplies, and serving food from the truck. |

St. Mark's Food Pantry
This long-standing community service ministry seeks to serve hungry families and individuals in the Huntsville and Madison County areas. These are coordinated through Huntsville Assistance Program (HAP) and Food Line (256-534-2424).
Free Pantry
Take what you need. Give what you can. This little pantry is found outside St. Mark's, facing Franklin St., and is available for all in need at any time.

Blessings in a Backpack
This nationwide program mobilizes communities, individuals and groups to provide food on weekends for elementary school children across America who might otherwise go hungry. St. Mark's has committed to helping 75 students on a weekly basis who attend Huntsville's Martin Luther King Junior Elementary School.

Women of the ELCA
There are 5 circles of the St. Mark’s Unit of the Women of the ELCA (WELCA). These groups come together on a monthly basis for study, support and action. We also participate in ministry beyond the unit, and support the synod and church-wide organization. Great discussion is a part of every meeting! Please consider joining us and look for more information in the newsletter!
