observing lent at st. mark's

THIS PAGE IS UNDER CONSTRUCTION FOR LENT 2020!
The season of Lent is a solemn period of 40 days, excluding Sundays, beginning Ash Wednesday and ending Easter Sunday.  During this time, we prepare ourselves through worship and a variety of spiritual and physical disciplines to remember the sacrifices made by Jesus to atone for our sins.  Lent culminates in Holy Week, a time of both deep sorrow and utmost joy as we remember and celebrate the suffering, death, burial, and miraculous resurrection of Christ Jesus.

Contemporary worship at 8:30 am followed by traditional worship at 11 am.  Both services begin with a processional from the main parking lot on the east side of the church into the sanctuary, weather permitting.  Sunday School classes meet at their normal time at 9:45 am.

Sunday Afternoon Open House & Worship
This year we will open our doors for worship and fellowship each Sunday afternoon during Lent (March 10th, 17th, 24th, 31st, April 7th and 14th).
