Tuesdays in November, 6-7pm
In response to the government shutdown and the suspension of SNAP and other food assistance programs, St. Mark’s is offering a free bag of groceries and a hot meal through November on Tuesday evenings to anyone experiencing food insecurity, no requirements or questions asked. Food pickup will take place from 6-7pm (while supplies last) in the back parking lot – volunteers will be available to help direct you to the pickup location.
We’ve had several asks for ways in which people can help! Continuing to spread the word to anyone you know who could use some food at this time is incredibly helpful. We are also taking food donations (see the list below) and monetary donations (stmarkshsv.org/give) if you feel so led. Food donations can be brought to our church office during office hours (Mon. – Thurs., 9am-2:30pm) or left in our free pantry at any time (blue box located on the Longwood St. side of St. Mark’s).
