Dear Lovelies,
Is it true that nothing is new? Is everyone forgotten? Is there no more knowledge to seek? The answers seem obvious. Of course. God continues to create. God knows God’s creations. God wants us to learn and grow in knowledge. The more we read, hear, and observe, the more is revealed. Like an infinite number, there is no end to knowledge. Each experience is unique to itself.
Ecclesiastes invites us to think beyond ourselves. To embrace the vast and incomprehensible God. Oftentimes, we humanize God to better understand God; however, not understanding God is the point. We are encouraged to learn about God, and it is ‘vanity’ to believe we will ever know it all. We are to work diligently not just to make a living, but to enjoy our lives. We are to see the beauty of the sunrise and sunset, hear the lapping of the waves and gurgle of a creek, feel the breeze on our faces and know that we are in the presence of God. We are to remember our loved ones and those who came before but not get lost in making a name for ourselves. We are to embrace every spring and the newness of life, celebrating Easter every day. Most importantly, we never stop learning. The first lesson being that there is always more to learn.
Happy Day!
