Dear Lovelies,
Diversity. We are reminded in Psalm 139 that each of us is fearfully and wonderfully made. Everyone, in all their differences, is a creation of God. And what artist doesn’t delight in a wonderfully made creation? God delights in each of God’s wonderfully different creations.
Diversity. The season of Pentecost is approaching. Can you imagine the scene on that day? People from different areas and walks of life assembled and heard not just one common language, but their own languages lifted in praise. And filled with the Holy Spirit, each was understood. God delights in God’s creations.
Diversity. We are united in our differences. Our appearances. Our age. Our preferences. Our choices. Our knowledge. Our income. Our abundance. Our scarcity. Matthew 10 tells us that even the hairs on our heads are counted, we are known in our differences. God delights in our differences. Diversity. At some point in the not-so-distant future, our differences will be our commonalities. Revelation prophesies of a multitude from every nation, that no one can count, of every tribe, people, and language, standing before the Lamb of God. Our differences cease to exist. God delights in you.
Happy Day!
