LIFELONG LEARNING AT ST. MARK'S

Here is what is currently available:

- NEW: Introduction to St. Mark's--a four week class.  This class is for any wishing to learn more about our unique congregation and for those who would like to join our church family.

- NEW: The book of Acts Ever wanted to get in the Bible deeper.  Join us.  You will be glad you did.

-NEW:  "The Best Question Ever" by Andy Stanley.  In this DVD course, discover God's promise and plan for something better.

- NEW: "Getting Down to Basics" (a study of the Lutheran Confessions) - Class begins THIS SUNDAY--January 22.  10 week class.  This is not the "catechism" of your youth.  This is getting to the basics of Lutheran Christianity.

- NEW: Take Two Movie Course  beginning with Soul Surfer.  Just how does modern culture impact our faith?  Join in the discussion and enjoy the movie.

- ONGOING: "John the Maverick Gospel" a book by Robert Kysar is being discussed.  Learn more about our faith by digging deeper into the Gospel of John.

-ONGOING:  "He Still Moves Stones" a book by Max Lucado.  It's not all about what Jesus did; it's what he still does.

St. Mark's has set a goal of having at least 60% of those who worship be involved in Sunday learning.  The word "disciple" means "learner" as well as "follower" of Jesus.  Jesus is our standard in establishing thiis goal.  BE PART OF THE 60%!!
