St. Mark's Entry at the Botanical Gardens' Scarecrow Trail
Recently at St. Mark's:
The Barbershop Quartet, "Audio Radiance", who was scheduled to sing this past Sunday at St. Mark's was unable to make services due to an unexpected illness. St. Mark's stepped up and we had a great service anyway! A beautiful violin solo at the 8a.m. service, the "Fly by the Seat of Your Pants" praise group got everyone going at the 9:15a.m. service, and our wonderful Mira played a selection of special music filled in
the gaps.
What's new at St. Mark's:
IMS Day of Service and Unity will kick off with breakfast at St. Mark's on September 11th at 8:00a.m. Check out www. interfaithmissionservice.org for more details.
The first confirmation class will be held September 12th at 1:00p.m.
The next Young Adult dinner will be September 12th at Chili's on Bailey Cove. Ages 18-35 will meet at 5:30p.m. to discuss a new Young Adult ministry at St. Mark's.
Free Spirits starts back this month on the 16th. Social time will begin at 11:00a.m. in the Fellowship Hall with the program/lunch beginning at 11:30a.m.
